Quick capture
Quick capture is for the thought that can’t wait: a global hotkey, a menu-bar icon, or a widget that opens straight into a new note.
Global hotkey
Section titled “Global hotkey”Press the mashnote hotkey from anywhere to open a new note instantly. You never need to find the app window first.
Menu bar / tray
Section titled “Menu bar / tray”On desktop, a menu-bar (macOS) or tray icon keeps capture one click away. Click it to drop a new note.
Widget
Section titled “Widget”Add the mashnote widget to your home screen for one-tap new notes.
