Web (PWA)
The web app is the heart of mashnote — it runs in any modern browser and can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
Use it anywhere
Section titled “Use it anywhere”Open app.mashnote.dev and sign in. It works on Mac, Windows, Linux and mobile browsers.
Install as an app
Section titled “Install as an app”The web app is a PWA, so you can install it like a native app:
- Chrome / Edge — the install icon in the address bar → Install.
- Safari (macOS) — Share → Add to Dock.
- iOS Safari — Share → Add to Home Screen.
Installing gives you a dedicated window and an app icon.
Offline
Section titled “Offline”The PWA includes a service worker, so the app shell and your notes load offline. Your content syncs in the background when you’re back online. See Local-first & sync.
