Quick start
Follow these steps to go from sign-up to a captured, organised note.
1. Create your account
Section titled “1. Create your account”Open the app and register with your email. You get an implicit personal workspace — the private space your notes live in. No setup required.
2. Create your first note
Section titled “2. Create your first note”Tap + New note (or press ⌘N / Ctrl+N) and start typing. The editor is a flowing rich-text document — a title and a few lines is all you need to begin. See Editor overview.
3. Try the Inbox
Section titled “3. Try the Inbox”Anything you capture before filing it lands in the Inbox — an unsorted section that’s always above your notebooks. Read The Inbox.
4. Organise with notebooks and tags
Section titled “4. Organise with notebooks and tags”Create a notebook for a project or area, and add tags for cross-cutting labels. See Notebooks and Tags.
5. Capture from anywhere
Section titled “5. Capture from anywhere”Use the share sheet on iOS or quick capture on desktop to send text, links and files straight to your Inbox. See Share from other apps.
6. Search everything
Section titled “6. Search everything”Type in the search bar to find any note — including text inside images, thanks to on-device OCR. See Search & OCR.
