Is mashnote free?
Section titled “Is mashnote free?”Yes — the Free plan includes the full editor, local storage and ~100 MB of sync. Paid plans add multi-device sync, unlimited attachments and your own storage. See Plans & billing.
Do my notes work offline?
Section titled “Do my notes work offline?”Yes. mashnote is local-first: everything is stored on your device and stays available offline, then syncs in the background when you’re online. See Local-first & sync.
Can I leave mashnote?
Section titled “Can I leave mashnote?”Yes, in one click. Export everything to Markdown, HTML or ENEX (and a self-contained Markdown ZIP) whenever you want. See Export your data.
Is my data private?
Section titled “Is my data private?”OCR runs on-device, and your notes are yours to export. Standard server-side security applies, and sync is designed so end-to-end encryption can be added later. See Privacy & security.
Can I share a note with someone?
Section titled “Can I share a note with someone?”Yes — create a read-only share link, and anyone with the link can view it. Signed-in recipients can save a copy to their Inbox. See Share links.
Can I import from Evernote?

Which platforms does mashnote support?

Roadmap
Section titled “Roadmap”mashnote launched personal and is architected for teams. On the roadmap:
- Web clipper — save pages into your Inbox.
- Collaboration — shared notebooks, roles, invite links, presence and
@mentionon checklists. - Team plan — per-seat billing when collaboration unlocks.
- Version history — surfaced as a paid feature, built on the sync engine’s snapshots.
